Picasso’s past was one of neglect and hardship. He spent his life confined to a wire kennel in a grooming salon, rented out for stud services but never receiving medical care or even the freedom to stretch his legs. By the time he came to us, his tiny body was suffering—an untreated infection had spread through his mouth, destroying part of his lower jaw and pushing one of his eyes out.

Through love, medical care, and patience, Picasso has healed, both physically and emotionally. Along the way, we discovered he is Tommy’s father, making their rescue even more meaningful. Despite his past, Picasso found comfort and safety in his foster home, where he formed an unbreakable bond with his foster mom.
