Hi, I'm Baby! 💙 My name is Baby, and I'm a sweet 9-year-old Maltese with a heart that's full of love. Life has taken me on quite a journey, but thanks to the wonderful people at Max's Ark, I'm finally getting the fresh start I deserve. Before coming to rescue, I spent part of my life as a hospice support dog.

Pets Ready For Adoption
My Name is Beau
Hi, I'm Beau! I'm a 7-year-old Miki (that's a fun little designer breed, in case you were wondering), and I've got a story I'd love to tell you.I actually got my start with Max's Ark Rescue as a tiny puppy
My Name is Josie!
💖🐾 Hi… I’m Josie 🐾💖 I’m a 3-year-old Yorkshire Terrier with soft silver-and-tan fur and a heart that’s learning how to trust again. For most of my life, I was a puppy mill mama… having babies instead of being someone’s baby. 💔
My Name is Sassy
Hi! My name is Sassy. That’s a pretty funny name because, for the first five months of my life, I didn’t have much to be sassy about. I was born at a breeding kennel, where life was very different from what a puppy should know. There weren’t bedtime snuggles or family movie nights.
My Name is Bruno!
🐾🤍 Hi… I’m Bruno. 🤍🐾 I’m a 5/6 -year-old white Pomeranian, and I used to think I had a forever family… but when they moved, they left me behind. 💔 I didn’t understand it at first. I kept waiting. But now I’m safe, and I’m learning that sometimes endings can still lead to new beginnings. 💙
My Name is Izhy!
🐾 Hi! I’m Izhy — 🐾 I was born in a place where dogs like me were expected to make puppies. I don't remember anyone holding me just because they loved me. I don't remember toys, soft beds, or someone whispering that I was a good girl. Life was about surviving.
My Name is Ivy
🐾 Ivy, our precious little Mini Aussie, is deaf. She may not hear the world around her, but she has no trouble feeling love — especially when that love comes from her best friend, Kiwi. ❤️
My Name is Caprisse!
Hello! My name is Caprisse, and I’m a 3-year-old miniature Poodle with a beautiful chocolate coat and an even sweeter personality. I came from a breeder, and now I’m ready for a fresh start where I can finally be someone’s whole world.
My Name is Kiwi!
Hi everybody! It’s me, Kiwi. 🥰 I’m only one year old, but I’ve already had quite an adventure! When I was just a tiny little puppy, I came to Max’s Ark Rescue. I was very small, very fluffy, and, according to everyone who met me, cute as a button. 🥹💕 I’m a long-haired Toy Chihuahua, so I was basically born to be adorable.
My Name is Susie!
Hi there! My name is Susie, and I’m a sweet little 7-pound Yorkie girl with a big heart and a story I’m ready to leave behind.
My Name is Eol!
For the first 4 years of my life, I wasn’t really anyone’s “baby.” I was just a stud dog for a breeder, kept to make puppies and never truly loved for me. 💔 I didn’t know what it meant to be part of a family, to be cuddled on a couch, or to be told I was special.
My Name is Gaga!
I’m a 2-year-old Korean Maltese with a big heart and a waggy tail! ✨ For the first part of my life, I was used for breeding, but those days are behind me now—and I’m ready to just be a dog 💕.
My Name is Missy!
Hi, my name is Missy, and I’m a beautiful 3-year-old Pomeranian with a fluffy white coat, a sweet face, and a heart that is finally ready to know what it feels like to be truly loved. 🐾🤍
My Name is Jules
Hi, I’m Jules, a beautiful 2-year-old Yorkie girl with a silver-and-tan coat, a gentle heart, and so much love to give. I weigh about 12 pounds—just the perfect size for cuddles! 🐾💕
My Name is Lucy!
I’m 4 years old, and my story began in the same backyard breeding operation as my friend Susie. For much of my life, my job was to have babies. I never really got to experience what it meant to simply be a little dog—to be someone’s companion, to be spoiled, to curl up on a lap and just enjoy being loved.

Additional adoption info:
♥ Our energetic puppy and young adult aged dogs require owners with active lifestyles, regular walking and socialization.
♥ As a gentle reminder for seasoned dog owners as well as new ones, a day in the life of a puppy is one of high energy, early mornings, late nights and housetraining!
♥ If you are a Senior, please consider adopting one of the many Senior dogs in need of a home. The advantages of a mature dog are numerous and rewarding for both the dog and the owner. We do not adopt out puppies to Seniors beyond 65 (young middle aged).
♥ Our main concern is the age of the dog and potential owner and getting them placed in a loving FOREVER home.
♥ We require a Florida residence, full or part time. Please consider this when submitting your application as you must be in Florida at the time of the adoption.
♥ We do not place our dogs in homes with young children (less than 10) for the safety of both the child and the dog.
♥ The number of dogs in an adoptive home cannot exceed 3.
